Yes. Attending each year’s audition enables us to consider you for scholarships and the Edinburgh Connection Program.

Notification letters will be sent within two – three weeks of each audition. Scholarship notifications are sent out throughout the audition tour.  Edinburgh Connection notification letters are sent at the completion of the audition tour.

Space is reserved in the order that deposits arrive. Final tuition payment is due May 1st.

Burklyn Ballet Theatre offers a limited number of scholarships ranging from $100 to $500. Dancers are automatically considered for talent-based scholarships during the audition. No separate application is necessary. Scholarship notifications are sent out throughout the audition tour.

A BBT staff member will personally meet all dancers who arrange pick-up/drop off thru us from the Burlington, VT Airport or Bus station, Essex Junction, VT Train Station or the Waterbury, VT Bus or Train Station. This requires green form and an additional fee. We may use an outside company or our own vans & drivers.  Arrangements must be made well in advance.

If you are arriving by car, visit our Location Page for a Google Map of Johnson State College. Upon arrival on campus, follow the signs to the Burklyn registration. There, dancers’ files are checked for accurate contact numbers, parents’ questions are answered, room assignments, informational packets and room keys are distributed.  Books, sweats and T-shirts may also be purchased at this time.

Once you are accepted into our program, you will be sent a handbook and Forms containing a packing list and other details via email or snail mail.
